Sherri and Josh – Harris Pelham Inn New Hampshire Wedding Photography

Warm sun. Summer skies. Anticipation in the air. As I packed my gear on a warm Friday morning last month, these are the things I felt as Sherri and Josh’s incredible wedding story began to unfold on August 2, 2013.

When I photographed their engagement session in Nashua, NH, I knew we were in for a beautiful and spirted day though, even I was not aware of all the surprises that awaited.

Sherri and Josh chose the Harris’ Pelham Inn in Pelham, NH as their wedding venue and when you see the photos of the lush open spaces, waterside garden, and gigantic skies, it is not hard to understand why.

Jaime Connolly once again lent her photographic eye to the day’s capture and I was grateful to share her talent.

Jaime met the guys at Sherri and Josh’s residence in Amherst, NH where preparations for the day were beginning.

One can appreciate the benefit of keeping the guys on schedule at the right time and place. Sherri made sure this happened 🙂

Josh had plenty of capable help getting ready.

Back at Sherri’s aunt’s home in Londonderry, NH, bridal preparations were well underway. Even the littlest princess was getting ready for the ball.

The trifold mirror in the master bedroom presented a unique opportunity to take in the angles on Sherri’s dress.

Sherri pauses for a moment with her mother, Denise before getting dressed for her wedding.

Denise aptly fits Sherri’s veil, and was very proud of the job well done.

Sherri’s father, Mike, had not yet seen Sherri in her wedding dress. I helped arrange a moment for her father to see her not just as his daughter, but as a bride.

Sherri’s aunt’s home provided an attractive environment for a few photos before the ceremony.

As we converged on Harris’ Pelham Inn, the day’s splendor began to unfold. Jaime captured several photos of the surroundings.

I love seeing a couple’s engagement photos at the wedding.

The time has come for Josh to see Sherri for the first time on their wedding day: the first look. The waterside area is surrounded by foliage and created the perfect setting for this moment.

A wedding photographer can ably adapt to wildlife photography when the opportunity calls. Several of these little guys watched our first look near the water.

Sherri’s father, Mike, hand crafted a wooden ring box for the wedding. He presented his work as a gift to Sherri and Josh.

The ceremony at the gazebo begins. After morning clouds, a perfect blue sky unfolded over the ceremony during the afternoon.

Denise and Mike join daughters, Sherri, and matron of honor Jenni, and their new son in law.

Josh’s brother Joe, and parents Olga and Dan pose with their family.

When we started setting up this shot, Joe asked me if he was going to be in the back again. He told me he is always placed in the back in photos because of his prominence. I told him, not this time. This shot is for him.

The grand entrance was followed by a stately, well rehearsed first dance.  But this first dance was about to give wedding guests a night to remember.

After dazzling the audience with their best ballroom display, the music abruptly changed. Sherri and Josh went into a fully choreographed dance routine that blew the doors off.

Sherri and her father reprised with their own choreographed performance as emotion filled the air.

Ring shot.

I handed my SLR to the videographer so I could have a quick pic with the newlyweds.

Sherri and Josh: You planned so much wonderful detail into your wedding. This page could have easily been twice as long! I hope you enjoy the photos here as you relive the wonder of your wedding together. More to come!
